This is the English Premier League deadline special.

September 1 is the transfer deadline for the English Premier League. Also, Germany, Italy, and France close their window today at 19:00 BST. There is movement in almost every team today, trying to add players or offload some.

Premier League defending Champions Liverpool are in the final stages of adding Isak and Guéhi. Manchester City is closing on Donnarumma, and Newcastle is finalizing the deal for Yoane Wissa.

Liverpool

Alexander Isak is in the final stages of completing his dream move to Liverpool. The Swede took his medical test today. Liverpool is announcing a new player for a record British transfer fee of £130m.

Newcastle United made it difficult to negotiate the deal for the striker during the transfer window. Rejecting the initial bid from Liverpool worth £120m early this summer. But the inform goal score always wanted to move to Anfield.

Merseyside club is still not done. Ane Slot’s team is still short in defence after the departure of Jarell Quansah, who joined Bayer Leverkusen. Marc Guéhi has been heavily linked with Liverpool.

Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta were in the market to replace the Polish defender. They are reported to be finalizing the deal for Piero Hincapié from Bayer Leverkusen. The Ecuadorian defender will sign a loan deal with an option to buy. His announcement is imminent.

Sambi Lokonga and Fabio Viera moved to the German side Hamburg. Reiss Nelson is set to be announced as a new Brentford player for a season-long loan.

Manchester City

Manchester City is close to announcing the deal for Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG. The Italian goalkeeper will replace Ederson, who signed for Fenerbahce. Pep Guardiola has said goodbye to several players this summer.

The defender Manuel Akanji is in the final stages of signing for Inter Milan. While Ilkay Gundogan is in talks with Galatasaray for a possible move to Turkey.

Chelsea

The Blues are finally in agreement with Bayern Munich to allow Nicolas Jackson his dream move. The deal, worth £70m, is in place after an initial season loan. Chelsea have also agreed on an improved loan fee of £14m.

The London side became reluctant to sanction the deal after Liam Delap picked up an injury during a game against Fulham.

The Club World Cup winners have been in serious talks to replace the England international with Conrad Harder of Sporting CP. He is said to have chosen to join RB Leipzig.

The plans have shifted to recall the Spanish striker Marc Guiu from his season loan to Sunderland.

Newcastle United

After losing their star man, Newcastle is now finalizing a deal for Yoane Wissa from Brentford. The Magpies agreed a £55m deal to bring the forward to St James’ Park.

Last week, Newcastle announced Nick Woltemade as their new player in a record transfer of £64.86m from Stuttgart.

Tottenham Hotspurs

The North London side is completing a shock move for Randal Kolo Muani from PSG. The 26-year-old French striker played in Serie A last season with Juventus. He is joining on a season loan to add numbers in the attack.

Spurs have added  Mohammed Kudus, Joao Palhinha, and Xavi Simons to the squad. The new manager, Thomas Frank, made the call to add Muani after an injury to Dominic Solanke.

Manchester United

The Red Devils have been trying to replace Andre Onana in goal since the start of the transfer window. Emiliano Martinez was a serious option before he penned his extension at Villa Park.

The number one target for Ruben Amorin was Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp. Manchester United has now agreed a deal in the region of £18.2m to sign the Belgian International.

Jadon Sancho left Old Trafford to join Aston Villa on loan. Firstly, the England International was involved in an exchange deal with Martinez, as a result, he decided not to leave permanently.
